We work diligently to curate the best selection of unique Indian instruments on Earth, and we want every instrument we ship to arrive safely. While we cannot control everything that happens in transit, our thoughtful packing methods ensure that most of what ship arrives undamaged.

Should things not go perfectly, Navidium Shipping Protection offers peace of mind with Delivery Guarantee in the event your delivery is damaged, stolen, or lost during transit. This means that in any of these events you won't have be filing a claim with the shipping carrier. Rather, you can just reach out to us directly, and we'll make sure another instrument is sent out quickly - no hassle.

Don't want shipping protection? No problem. Simply decline the offer in your shopping cart and you won't be charged.

Order Processing

Musical instruments purchased from Old Delhi Music do not sit in a warehouse awaiting "quick shipment." Rather, they are individually selected and set-up by a specialist at the time of your purchase. This is the only way to ensure quality when selling musical instruments, and we appreciate your patience.

Most orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). For larger 3 or 4 reed harmoniums or any harmonium requiring A432 tuning, please allow additional time.

When your instrument is ready to go, you will receive an email notification with your tracking details. Most domestic and international shipments take between 2-5 business days for delivery. 

Pre-Order Processing

Instruments purchased as a "Pre-Order" are processed and shipped once they become available in our inventory. For pre-order delivery estimates, please contact olddelhimusic@gmail.com.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to any location serviced by UPS or DHL.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Old Delhi Music is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.  In the event that you wish to make an exchange, please be aware that duties and taxes will likely be incurred both by your initial order and by any exchange order that follows. This is required by most receiving countries, and is unfortunately out of our control.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@olddelhimusic.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

The majority of our products are large items shipped via UPS or DHL. For both of these services, we can only ship to a valid street address, and do not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please provide a valid street address and phone number for your order.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs . Harmoniums tuned to A440 are eligible for return. However, any instrument that is modified in a way that is irreversible, including harmoniums tuned to A432, is not eligible for return. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@olddelhimusic.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
